In the grand scheme of animal shelters this little fella is just another cat who needs a good home – nondescript, unknown until posted on Facebook. But it brings it home to me how much they need that quality of life which millions of domestic cats in good homes receive as a matter of course.
When I look at him (I am actually not sure if this young cat is male or female) I want to give him a little wash up and some emotional and physical warmth. He needs bags of TLC and he needs it regularly.
A comment: Antonietta Angelelli — I want to rescue her! I’m living in Italy how I can make it? Please she doesn’t deserve to die. The words of a caring cat and animal lover who is regrettably not in a position to help in person.
This little bemused sweetie is at the Clayton County Animal Control, 1396 Government Circle Jonesboro, GA 30236. If you’re interested and in a position to adopt him or provide foster care (and/or help other cats too) please email the organisation at: FriendsCCAC@gmail.com.
If you click on the Facebook embedded image you’ll be taken to the FB page where you can declare your desire to help either with a pledge or by adopting 🙂 Please tell me if you adopt Bitsy and if you I’ll write a page about it.
Shame on Clayton County for not grooming this baby or even laying paper down in that cage so he could be more comfortable instead of clinging to the wires!
He looks terrified.
