Iams Cat Food Coupons

5th Oct 2009: Searching for Iams cat food coupons? I am discovering the coupon world and it seems it is:

  • ever changing (obviously) – as it is date sensitive this page needs constant updating or watching. This means some of these will become redundant.
  • a bit confusing.
  • often requires a sign up so there is a sort of “payment” in effect (the effort of signing up and do you get sent stuff you don’t want etc.?).
  • less rewarding than it first appears.

There is also the international element. Which country do coupons? – looks like it is mainly the USA.

Here are a list of Iams cat food coupons at 5th Oct 2009. If anyone knows of better ones and would like to share please leave a comment (base of post) and the web address – thanks.

  • P&G Brand Sampler -  get a coupon by mail for Iams® premium cat food. This is the major one on the internet at Oct 2009. It’s not actually a coupon for a free bag of Iams® as far as I know – it’s only a 3.00 coupon but it is something! No date on the page I saw. The cat is a Cornish Rex, I reckon.
  • MySavings $3 savings on Iams ProActive HealthCat Food – Coupon – requires signing in.
  • Petsmart Favorite Things Sale (valid through 27-10-09) – don’t know if you can get discount Iams cat food with this.
  • $10.00 off Iams Cat & Dog Food Coupons – $3 (Bedford)  – Craiglist.  A person selling on lots of coupons cheaply. Real coupons and last until April 30, 2010. It might be worth searching Craigslist (which can be done by city) for cat food discounts including occasionally coupons.  The success rate will be low, however.

Ebay is a reasonable source of Iams cat food coupons. They will be resell coupons by someone who doesn’t want them but probably at  a good discount and the coupons will probably be long lasting manufacturer coupons. I’d search Ebay.

$10.00 of Iams
by: Anonymous

So where are the people who are selling (on Ebay) the $10.00 off Iams coupons, getting them? The Iams website has no info and customer service only wants to send out way lesser value ones. Any answers??

Thanks, Ruth and Jane for reminding me. I did a post on the blogger site Jan 2008 about Purina cat food. Purina are involved in animal testing. The blogger post tell us which companies are not involved or at least some of them. Here is the post:

The cost of “free”
by: Jane

Not forgetting Hills who are also involved in testing their products on animals.

Many Iams and Hills pet foods (in the USA) were recalled over the last few years due to contamination with melamine (from China) Thousands of pets died. Particularly sad because they thought that by buying “better” foods for their pets, they were doing the right thing. They couldn’t have known 🙁

Sometimes “free” has a cost and “cheap” is anything but.

Animal testing !!!!
by: Ruth

IAMs are notorious for testing on animals

you can find lots more about it on the internet.

Proctor & Gamble too use animals in experiments.

People who know about this boycott these cruel firms !
