Immediate rescue from Georgia shelter needed for cat found shot twice in Gwinnett County

“Jude was rescued but his injuries per Ct scan showed a severed spine. We thank them for trying and hope Gwinnett County cruelty officer as well as Pd look into this and treat seriously, next time a child will be the target. Jude, you did not die in vain. May the person who did this suffer equally a fate .thank you pledgers and thank you Furkids for trying.”

Immediate rescue is needed for a cat found shot twice in Gwinnett County, Georgia (USA). Pledges have reached over $600 at the time of this article, yet no one has stepped up to save this sweet kitty.

Urgent Cats oat Gwinnett County Animal Control posted the situation on Facebook Saturday afternoon asking for help stating

We have a feline with 2 bullets in it. The feline is paralyzed. Needs rescue help. He went out in an urgent Rescue email sweet boy. His name is Jude. Please be his miracle.

 Animalrescue@gwinnettcounty.com. Please call 770 339 3200 or email if you can help. Unneutered male, very friendly. ID is 58909, Feline was found in Norcross on November 03 2017. He has been to the vet, on meds. He is located in Lawrenceville Georgia.

Rescues were informed when an urgent email went out. Cat advocates are working around the clock to get the pledge money up (they’re trying for $1,000 since Jude has major vet expenses in his future.

Please share Jude with Georgia cat rescues who have experience with special needs cats. Post this article to your social media pages. Even if you don’t personally know of anyone who can help, someone will likely see your post and share it with those who can actually get Jude out of the shelter and see he receives the best of care.

    These cases need to be investigated..in other parts of country they would be!!
