Indian Bengal Tiger Reserves — 5 Comments

  1. Thanks for the sharing this informative sharing. I Love to visit India and I like the culture of India specially Rajasthan. Ranthambore Tiger Reserve is one of my favorite adventure activity. You can book online through Rajasthan wildlife department website and get an immediate authentication and be done. Alternatively, you could walk down to the safari booking bureau as a minimum an hour or two earlier than a game drive starts, and buy a seat in the existing safari booking. Only here is more to it.

  2. Ranthambore National Park is a wildlife sanctuary is known for its tigers and is one of the best places in India to see these royal predators in the jungle. Tigers can be easily marked even during the day time. A good time to visit Ranthambore National Park is in November and May when the nature of the dry deciduous forests makes sightings common. Its deciduous forests were once a part of the magnificent jungles of Central India.

  3. Michael, thanks for this excellent research on the various tiger parks in India. It is very thorough although the tiger census could be incorrect in many parks.Spotting a tiger in most of the National parks is a matter of chance, besides, certain areas in the park have a larger tiger density than other areas. I have thoroughly explained this in my blog on a tiger safari to “Bandhavgarh Tiger National Park”.In “Sariska National park” the authorities suddenly discovered that the parks tigers were extinct, a case of poaching. This link on poacher Sansar.Chand explains the precarious position of tigers in the protected national parks of India. :-http://timesofindia.indiatimes.com/city/jaipur/Bring-Sansar-Chand-on-July-20-Court/articleshow/21155122.cms
