  1. If the cat is a purebred Siamese then it can only develop blue eyes.

    Even when a Siamese cat carries a recessive gene for green or copper coloured eyes, this only affects the shade of blue. Copper produces larger trace amounts of melanin, scattering more white light to create a pale blue eye. Green produces a much deeper, dark shade of blue. Cats with a hidden yellow or gold gene, will have a shade of blue eye somewhere in between pale blue and navy.

  2. I’ve never seen a Siamese without blue eyes. They may not be deep blue but blue nonetheless.
    But, a Siamese kit at only 3 months has time to make the change.

  3. I have a cat with one blue eye and one yellow eye. Googling “cat with one blue eye and one yellow eye” brings up the different shades of blue eyes and explains how eye color is determined. Very interesting
