It’s not just childless cat ladies as JD Vance once described childless people as sociopathic

It’s not just “Childless cat ladies”, JD Vance once described childless people as sociopathic. Why have I written this post? To defend women who generally love cats more than men. Women have provided so much protection for cats. I don’t want to see then attacked. Although as one would expect there are some bad eggs. The image below is about peas 😉😻.

Trump and Vance are two peas in a misogynistic pod
Trump and Vance are two peas in a misogynistic pod

NEWS AND VIEWS: This is sharp-end American politics but it seems to me, an outsider, that Vance is as extreme and potentially dangerous as Trump. They are two peas in a pod with Trump also being strongly misogynistic. And they want to lead all Americans? Including half the population of women? How can women accept them?

Trump has already publicly defended Vance though on the family issue and Vance denigrating single women living with a cat. Not good for Trump to have to defend Vance at this stage. And this video says that Vance described childless people as sociopathic. Very extreme statement. An example of an extreme religious viewpoint along the lines of Islamic extremists but on different topics.

The Pope has criticised Italians who have pets as a substitute for kids. And some people have pets as a ‘starter child’ to test their ability to care for a new family member but not a human. I think a lot of people are unsure of bringing a child into this ever more dangerous world which is why populations are dropping in Germany for instance and Japan. Russia’s population is dropping for different but overlapping reasons: the war in Ukraine and other reasons.

Vance defends himself in regard to his extreme and hurtful remarks by saying he is being sarcastic or winding people up by trolling but in my view, they reflect his true viewpoint which would make him a poor vice-president if Trump won.

Cat ladies have been thrust into the news because of Vance. He said they are miserable. Really, that’s ridiculous. Single cat ladies are no more miserable than anyone else and probably happier. They’ve often chosen that way of life for a good reason. America is a free society. Let them be. Personally, I admire them.

The US needs a stable, sensible leadership, not extreme ideas just like any other country. Steady growth to improve the lives of families and single people – and their companion animals while protecting nature and wildlife. That is the target.

Trump – two peas in a pod (with Vance)

Donald Trump has faced numerous accusations and criticisms for his comments and behavior towards women, which many have labeled as misogynistic. Here are some notable examples:

  1. Access Hollywood Tape: In a 2005 recording, Trump was heard making lewd comments about women, including the infamous line about grabbing women “by the pussy”.
  2. Comments on Female Politicians: Trump has made disparaging remarks about several female politicians. For instance, he commented on Carly Fiorina’s appearance during the 2016 Republican primary, saying, “Look at that face! Would anyone vote for that?”.
  3. Sexual Misconduct Allegations: Since the 1970s, at least 26 women have publicly accused Trump of various forms of sexual misconduct, including groping and unwanted advances.
  4. Derogatory Language: Trump has often used gendered language to belittle women. For example, he referred to former Ukrainian ambassador Marie Yovanovitch as “the woman” and dismissed her as “not an angel”.
  5. Objectification of Women: Trump has a history of objectifying women, often commenting on their physical appearance. He has been quoted saying, “It doesn’t really matter what [the media] write as long as you’ve got a young and beautiful piece of ass”.

These examples highlight a pattern of behavior and language that many consider to be deeply disrespectful and harmful towards women.

Recently Donald Trump has made several comments about Vice President Kamala Harris that have been widely criticized. In one instance, he suggested that world leaders would “walk all over” her because of her appearance. Such remarks are often seen as undermining her capabilities and reducing her to her looks rather than her qualifications and achievements.

These kinds of comments contribute to the broader issue of misogyny in politics, where women are frequently judged and criticized based on their appearance rather than their professional abilities.

Trump on Harris

Donald Trump stunned a conference of black journalists by saying that Kamala Harris portrayed herself as Indian for many years then ‘happened to turn black’. Sounds like racism to you?

Additionally, Trump has a history of controversial statements and actions, such as his involvement in the “birther” conspiracy against former President Barack Obama and his comments during the Central Park Five case.

If you have any specific incidents in mind or need more details, feel free to ask!

Conclusion

And the American people are being asked to vote for this pair to lead their country. I don’t get it. No women should vote for them. None. That’s 50% of the vote gone already.
