Uhmm, there is something soothingly spiritual in watching this video. Two of Jun’s cats watch him prepare high quality French toast with elegant precision. The key is the quality of the baguette.
This guy is a very precise and dextrous person. He likes his home to be ‘just so’. His cats are beautiful and I sense that he has chosen them carefully, in part, by their coat types.
Everything is in place and everything has its place for this man. And his video is charming and captivating.
I guess it is a combination of three very nice things: domestic cats and high quality cooking in a super looking kitchen.
A lot of people love cats and a lot of people love cooking or watching how to cook well. The cats add something; charm and emotional warmth. His kitchen is quite sterile. Perhaps the cats remove this sterility.
And his style in letting the cats watch so closely on the counter tops debunks the idea that cats should stay off kitchen counters for health reasons. That’s always been a silly concept. Nice to see someone who is so particular, as I am sure he is, letting his cats join him when cooking.
