Jenga cat plays Jenga; a game in which the participants take turns to remove wooden building blocks from a tower and place them on top of the tower which both makes the tower taller but less stable. The winner is the person who the last to place a building block on top of the tower before it falls.

The cat is Moe and he is a Jenga cat. There is only one Jenga cat on the planet and it is Moe 😉
He has learned how to play it by watching people do it. That is the only conclusion you can make but of course there is a certain amount if judicious video editing and assistance but who cares because Moe’s sort of got the hang of it. Cats do like to prod and poke at objects because it is hard-wired predatory behaviour.
Does this prove cats are smarter than other animals including dogs? No. It is just a funny cat video and anyway it is fruitless to try and compare levels of intelligence of various animals because it means people are measuring animal intelligence by their standards and I believe that is neither sensible nor workable because different kinds of intelligence is at play.
That said it is nice to see a cat showing of his intelligence 😉
My thanks to Dee for finding the video. Note: people who video with smartphones should learn to hold the phone horizontally as it is the only way to fill the frame.
Yes, the nature of internet cat videos. I suppose the people making the video wanted to jazz it up a bit.
What a beautiful cat but what was that loud burst of stupid noise at the end?
