Comment: I have been cautious in this article. It looks like an unfathomably cruel act on a vulnerable creature but we have to he cautious. Although anything other than an act of human cruelty seems unlikely, I am thinking of a possible coyote attack.
The bodies of cats attacked by coyotes can look as if a person dissected the cat as the cuts can be clean. And there were other wounds. To me (and I may be well off course here) it looks as if it is just about feasible that this cat was attacked by a coyote although very unlikely. There are two well known cases of serial cat killing and mutilation on both sides of the Atlantic which have been put down to coyotes (USA) and foxes (UK).
Why would a person’s act of cat cruelty take this form? It is bizarre in the extreme. I have read dozens of stories of cat cruelty and this does not fit in with those stories. Although I suppose there is no understanding the minds of psychopathic people if this is the deed of such a person.
