Lakewood, NJ evil boys abuse cat: ‘Mickey’ has a cracked rib, a hernia and external damage around his rectum

Yet another case of animal cruelty committed by a group of young boys has made the news this week. Lakewood, New Jersey police are looking for them after the boys caused the cat, now dubbed Mickey, to suffer a broken rib and irritation to his anus from sticks being stuck inside of him.

According to a police report two Good Samaritans discovered the injured kitten on Laurel Avenue. Sara Cameron reported she say the boys gathered around Mickey and ran toward them. The boys ran off, leaving the injured kitten behind.

Sara took care of the kitten while the person with her contacted police. Both women are now working closely with investigators to ensure Mickey gets justice. She contacted Calling All Cats and Mickey was taken to the Barnegat Animal Clinic for treatment. His vet says Mickey is expected to make a full recovery.

Calling All Cats posted an extensive update on their Facebook community page on October 3 stating

“Here is the UPDATE everyone has been waiting for, our foster just got home from Barnaget Animal Clinic. Dr Behan did a full exam with x-rays and blood work.

Mickey has a cracked rib, a hernia, and thankfully only external damage around his rectum. He couldn’t tell if the jaw was broken by the X-ray because it’s a hard X-ray to take on a kitten while they are not sedated, but he doesn’t think his jaw is damaged. He believes the damage where his bottom lip is detached from his gum will heal.

He received a shot of pain meds and he wants him started on Clavamox. His white blood count was slightly elevated and when he poops he passes blood so we are keeping a close eye on that. Other than that, Dr. Behan feels with some TLC he will make a full recovery.

When he is bigger and stronger he will have his hernia repaired and he will be neutered. Dr. Behan had many patients waiting for him so he will he sending me his X-rays and report as soon as he is able which will then be sent to the Lakewood Police Department.

I spoke with the Good Samaritan today and she spoke with the detectives. They called her this morning around 10 am and she told them everything. I truly hope justice is served. I want to thank everyone for your support and for all the donations. We couldn’t do what we do without the support from our followers and community.”

The incident remains under investigation. Anyone with information on who these little monsters are is urged to contact the Lakewood Police Department at 732-363-0200.

I’m sorry if this offends anyone but these boys (I haven’t seen any reports on their age) are little monsters who have a good chance of growing into not only animal abusers but will likely take pleasure in abusing people. Most serial killers as well as perpetrators of criminal domestic violence started out by abusing helpless animals.

I have no pity for them at all. If the justice system doesn’t take care of them, I hope they reap what they sow in as horrible a manner as possible.
