Library cat looking for a retirement home
Honestly, it was not an easy decision to make to consider re-homing Porter, but he has been of great service to this library. He’s always brought smiles and cuddles to patrons who needed him, and we think it’s time we return the favor and give him a permanent home. – library director Kelsey Collins.
Porter C. Bibliocat has been a library cat at Anna Porter Public Library in Gatlinburg-Pittman High School for nearly 10 years. He is well loved and has done a great job of work but it is tome to retire at 13 and because he diabetes and reportedly other health issues. Here are contact and location details:
Library Located in: Gatlinburg-Pittman High School
Address: 158 Proffitt Rd, Gatlinburg, TN 37738, United States
Coincidentally, the library is near Great Smoky Mountains NP where there are feral cats, apparently. I discuss that on this page.
