Lithe, svelte and impressive red coated Oriental Shorthair
This is an excellent cat picture because it shows off the Oriental Shorthair’s lithe and svelte body conformation which the breeders so prize and which is embedded in the CFA breed standard. His coat is very fine as well: red, spotted tabby, which I think is amazing.
GENERAL: the ideal Oriental is a svelte cat with long, tapering
lines, very lithe but muscular. Excellent physical condition. – CFA breed standard

Sometimes breeders create Oriental Shorthairs that are too extreme e.g. overly large ears, but this looks like a handsome cat. This cat looks quite big too. An impressive cat.
Some definitions:
- Lithe: thin, supple, and graceful.
- Svelte: slender and elegant.
