Macavity

Macavity

Macavity, Macavity, the mystery cat. The only cat that can disappear and reappear any time.

Mangy and alone (except his henchmen) he rules the crime life.

Macavity is be based on the villain James Moriarty in the Sherlock Holmes stories written by Arthur Conan Doyle.

T.S. Eliot wrote the poem "Macavity the Mystery Cat". He admits to basing his Macavity on Doyle's Professor Moriarty.

And Andrew Lloyd Webber's Cats the Musical included Macavity, of course.

Yes I did draw this and color it too, thanks for the compliment. Macavity is one of hardest cats to draw since you cant really get detail on his face. :]

What an expresssive, if disturbing, image! My teeth ache just contemplating his image.

If you are the artist, I praise your work.
