I’ve had the same blood line of cats for as long as I can remember, and currently have three generations of cats under one roof. They have been consistently smaller cats, which undoubtedly is an inherited trait.
However, it wasn’t until last year when ‘daughter’ gave birth to kittens, that we had any seriously small cats.
This newest addition, while about 2/3 the size of her mum and full-grown, is slightly smaller than half the size of a normal cat.
She’s normally proportioned limb-wise, with a slightly rounder head, and bulbous eyes. She’s sweet, and at times very clingy (I have woken up with her sleeping on my face), and not very vocal.
She does however only drink from the kitchen faucet, and will ask persistently if you forget to turn it on for her (strange cat habits…)
