More information about Edna, the fire station cat who was recently evicted from the only home she’s ever known — 3 Comments

  1. I think firefighters generally (usually) have a special affinity for cats, as they tend to save many of them from burning buildings and from being stuck up trees. Many are the videos I’ve seen of them carrying them from a fire and giving oxygen. So I bet the complainer was some young testosterone riddled firefighter who couldn’t leave his macho attitude toward cats out of the fire house. That or an EMT who has an extreme cleanliness compulsion and thinks cats are dirty.

  2. “KPIX has learned that the complaint came from inside the building. Photos purportedly show a box of sterile paramedic gloves partially clawed open. They came from someone who said the cat complaint was filed, in part, as retaliation for alleged “unfair treatment” on the job.”

Thank you for following and updating Edna’s story, Elisa. Edna should be allowed to return to her home at SF Station #49. And for the cruel person who used Edna to vent his or her rage…karma will return to you. Sending prayers for Edna. 😠😭😿☯️☮️🙏💜💜🐾🗝️
