Cat owners should realise that cats have a different biological clock to themselves. Cats want to be up in the early hours of the morning or even throughout the night hunting. They might want to wake them up to join them. Cats adapt to the human lifestyle and end up sleeping on the bed with their human companion. But they may consistently wake up too early or be active at night which may disturb the cat owner. Harmony may be attained but this difference in biological clock and underlying desires can never be totally eradicated in my opinion.
