The photograph was taken by the house owner: Carol Bierwagen. It is a relatively large cat, larger than a domestic cat but smaller than a puma. For her it is a mystery cat. The same goes for the press. However, the cat must be a bobcat. The tail is short. The cat seems a little too ‘rangy’ or lanky to be a bobcat but it must be a bobcat because it can’t be a puma and these are the only two possibilities. Perhaps the cat is undernourished. Carol’s home is in Englewood, west-central Florida. It looks very nice I must say.
