Can cats and dogs spread the new coronavirus? No evidence at present 6th Feb 2020. This image is published here with the written permission and encouragement of the WHO.

It is very important that this message is spread rapidly across China and particularly in Wuhan, the epicentre of the epidemic because there have been instances of terrible cruelty against domestic cat and dogs. Panic has caused this cruel reaction to the frightening spread of the virus, which is called coronavirus (2019-nCoV). I believe the 2019 is the year it was discovered. The ‘nCoV’ must mean ‘new Coronavirus’ or ‘novel Coronavirus’. It is a new respiratory illness. It can be fatal.
