This is a quick post based on my observation of the much publicised meeting between Trump’s envoy to Israel, Steve Witkoff, and Benjamin Netanyahu (“Bibi”).
On first sight it is a typical meeting but I quickly realised that something was wrong with Witkoff’s sitting position. His legs are splayed out. They have to be because the chair is unnaturally low. It looks very odd and demeaning.
It looks like a child’s chair in terms of height off the floor. He looks up at Netanyahu somewhat sheepishly. I stress that Witkoff looks UP to Bibi because he has to in that low chair.
In stark contrast Bibi looks confidently DOWN on Witkoff. Bibi has a slightly evil expression on his face.
I have concluded that Bibi ensured that Witkoff was made to feel inferior by providing this unnaturally low chair in order to dominate him and dictate what happens in this meeting and in the subsequent visit to Gaza which is another reason for the visit i.e. for America to see in person what is going in Gaza.
If I am correct this would be typical of Bibi. Have you seen the film ‘The Bibi Files’? It’s about Bibi’s alleged corruption.
I guess you know that Bibi is currently waging war on Gaza not to finish off Hamas (no chance) but because he has to keep his ultra-rightwing coalition supporters happy as they keep him in power; the ultimate goal of everything Bibi does.
And as long as he wages war on Gaza his criminal trial for corruption is suspended. Another reason for him to continue killing many thousands of innocents.
The ultra-rightwing want to raze Gaza to the ground and claim the territory for themselves. The death of tens of thousands of innocent men, women and children is of no concern to them; just collateral damage.
There is an increased rebellion by IDF soldiers who refuse to serve as they object to the heavily disproportionate response of Israel to the Hamas atrocities of October 7th 2023. They believe that the continuation of the war is no longer to rescue the hostages or destroy Hamas. In my opinion and the opinion of many others, they are correct.
Yes, Hamas brought this on themselves with their horrendous attack but many people now see what they believe to be war crimes perpetrated by Israel.
Further, antisemitism is growing across the planet because of Israel’s merciless and unjustified actions.
