This kitten had a bad start in life. He had just been adopted and was microchipped but the microchip was registered to a veterinary surgery. The new owners had not had time to name their kitten nor to transfer the registration. The Hurricane Harvey storm and floodwater had washed their cat in home away. The kitten was hit by a car and badly injured with a broken jaw and paw. Good people took him to an emergency centre and then he found his way into the hands of a lady called Alison who is looking after him by setting up a crowdfunding page on the Internet which has raised its target of US$700 to pay for ongoing veterinary care and thereafter he will be rehomed. Alison is doing a great job. She herself lost two cats and a home and her cars and everything else in a flood one year ago but she is still rescuing and helping cats. An amazing lady.
