Some cats don’t hate vacuum cleaners

Not all domestic cats hate vacuum cleaners. This Bengal cat loves it. He is immune to the noise and likes the stroking/suction. Fair enough. He’s not unique among all domestic cats but he is rare. I’d guess that 99% of cats hate them. Why? Because the device is an unknown quantity. It is an alien object making a lot of noise and it is large.

  1. BTW I have a vacuum cleaner ritual. First i set the beast out then I turn it on and off quickly I call it the warning shot in case someone needs to evacuate the room.

  2. BabyMook slaps the crap out of the vacuum when I turn it off. My tigers have to be watched so they don’t lob stuff under it and Mercy simply saunters off to another room. Frog is very fond of having the lint roller used on her.
