Long time ago, my parents made me declaw my first cat. I didn’t know any better – no one really told me what happened. Watching your video with tears in my eyes, I asked Mitten to forgive me for what I did to him. He died of cancer in the 1980’s at age 13.
I vowed after him, I would never ever declaw another cat again. I’ve had many cats since and all of them had/have their claws. Its not hard to trim nails, etc. And now I’m totally against declawing any cat for any reason.
