This photograph of an Oriental Shorthair cat tells me that this breed is the serval of the domestic cat world. What I mean is that proportional to the rest of the body both the serval and the Oriental SH have the longest legs.

The serval is known for long legs, the longest as mentioned compared to overall size. I have never seen a domestic cat with such long, giraffe-like legs as this cat’s.
The Oriental SH is bred to be what cat breeders consider to be ‘elegant’ but which I would describe as extremely skinny and unnatural. I guess it is a matter of taste. There is no accounting for people’s tastes.
But it is unnatural.
