Baby Fluffy's last picture Baby Fluffy Munchkin Whineybutt Baby Fluffy in grandma's lap He got my cat tree spot!!

Hi everybody! It's Midnight Munchkin Whineybutt here! For those of you who don't know me, I'm the adopted daughter of Furby and the sole survivor of the Whineybutt kittens. I had a near death experience when I was little and it left me able to see our ghost kitten!

Let me explain.....A few months ago Mama Laura and Grandma Elisa rescued a feral kitten who had been stuck in a tree. A neighbor climbed the tree and got him down. He was a cute little thing who went around meowing after them. They couldn't leave the room or he was right behind them just a meowing! So grandma said she was going to make him an honorary Whineybutt. Mama called him Baby and grandma called him Fluffy. His official name became Baby Fluffy Whineybutt.

Baby Fluffy loved living with all of us here. He came in and took right over like he owned the place. He even got top seat on the cat tree on his first day here.

Grandma ran an ad in the paper in case he was missing and no one answered. She had him checked for a microchip and there wasn't one. He could stay!

He was a good kitty who chased his tail and slept in the bed with mama and me. He'd even attack her toes in the middle of the night. He was so fat and fluffy. Our cat Mia fell in love with him and gave him baths.

He'd only been with us a month when he got sick one night and died the next morning. This was right before Christmas. Mama stayed up all night the night before he died. She held him and gave him something to drink every hour. I knew it was bad when they said he was getting cold because that's what happened to my family right before they died.

I know you're not going to believe me but I'm telling the truth! Baby Fluffy is back and me and Mia are the only one's who can see him! He was playing with mama's feet in the bed a few nights ago.

Mama told Grandma Elisa about feeling him play with her toes. That's when Grandma Elisa confessed she had dreamed about Baby Fluffy. In her dream he was a big cat and he was peeking at her around the computer as she wrote a story. Only it wasn't a dream. Fluffy really did look around the computer and then made Grandma Elisa THINK it was a dream.

Baby Fluffy has been with us a few weeks now. Several nights ago our ghost kitten was playing with grandmas hair while he was laying in his favorite spot on the back of the couch. Grandma thought Cocoa was doing it and kept brushing her hand through her hair. You should have seen how fast she moved when she realized there was nobody there that she could see. I never realized antique cat ladies could move so fast!

Mia has been laying on the back of the couch a lot since Baby Fluffy came back. They look a lot alike and I think that's why she's so sweet on him. Other than me and Mia I don't think the other cats can see him. Mia had a near death experience when she first came here so that explains why she can see him too.

I jumped in grandma's lap a few days ago just to get a little petting. When I went to get up I couldn't. Baby Fluffy was holding me down with his paw. He sure has gotten stronger since he crossed the bridge!

I don't know how long he plans to stay with us. He's not always here. I think he pops in for a visit every so often to make sure we're all okay.

Do any of you have Rainbow Bridge kitties who come visit you? Can you see them or just feel them? Can your cats see them too? I'm really curious about this. I know I can't be the only one.

I hope everybody liked my first story for pictures-of-cats. I'm still little but I'm learning. I think I know a lot for an eight month old kitty!

i really enjoyed the story, although sad that baby fluffy died so young, its good to know he's still around. this story made me remember something. many years ago me and my son were living with my parents in their fairly old house, it was well over 100 years old. i was sitting up one night, watching telly, unable to sleep, when i became aware of 'something' in front of the video recorder, there was something there but i could see through it because i could see the time. i sat amazed as a large, white cat became visible, but always transparent, he just sat there and cleaned himself. we'd never had a white cat so he was'nt one of ours. i don't know how long i sat transfixed by this cat just doing what cats do but he did it while being totally see - through!! after a while, he stood up and stretched and started to walk along and disappeared as if behind a wall or something until there was no cat to be seen. it was'nt a frightening experience at all just odd. i decided to go to bed, half way up the stairs there came the loudest meow, it filled the room with noise, not an aggressive meow just as if the volume had been turned right up. i did'nt tell anyone for a long time, i worried they'd think i was cracking up. when i did tell my grandma she told me that many years before an old man had lived there and yes, you guessed it, he had a large white cat. by this time the old man had been dead 30 years and the cat much longer, maybe he was just seeing how the house was being looked after, i never saw him again and no-one else in the family saw him at all. strange stuff.

Cat Spirit
by: cat lady

When I visited my Mom back East a few years ago. I missed my Kittygrl very much for 12 days, since we are always together. The night I slept at my Sister's home with my Mom (a real cat lover who's biggest wish was to go die and go to Cat Heaven someday). I experience s movement onto my bed at my Sis's home, as if Kittygrl were jumping on the bed as she usually does when I was home. It happened several times over the 12 day stay, she must have known how bad I missed her and I was comforted and astonished at the feeling of presence in the room where I slept. I really missed being with her but I felt her jump on the bed where I was staying. I was not imagining this, it had happened when I did not expect to happen.

Cats have spirits too.

Liked your story. Pretty sure one of my cats found it difficult to leave us too, kept hearing her distinctive voice long after she had gone to the rainbow bridge.

amaretto, my saviour
by: cinnamon

when we moved here we had an orange/white cat named amaretto, we called him 'retto'. he was only cuddly with me, at night he would lay with his paw on my hand, and if i moved my hand he would put his paw right back on it. this is the way we slept every nite.

one night he went out on the balcony, and somehow decided he was going to wander. well, he never came back, and of course i worried. we searched for him and called and called. then 2 days later my son found him dead in the dumpster, someone had bashed him in the head and threw him out like so much trash.

for months i cried everytime i thought of him and gradually the pain eased. i had to have surgery, and there were complications. i lost 10 days of my life, i remember nothing except the feeling of having a cat purring beside me when i was in the hospital. after i came home the visitations started, i would feel him on the bed, catch a glimpse of him in the bathroom, and sometimes feel him purring beside me.

in june of the next year i moved into another apartment, we were not allowed to have pets. i snuck a kitten in here anyway, named him louie. that way if anyone asked who louie was i could say he was my room-mate. i saw retto a few times after that but gradually as louie and i bonded he visited less and less.

it has been many years since i have seen my ghost cat but he is always in my thoughts.

someday i will see you at the bridge, retto. hugs and purrs
