Owl-faced longhaired Scottish Fold kitten is a beauty

The long-haired Scottish Fold is less well known than the shorthaired variant but arguably prettier especially when they are a kitten because they have this owl-faced appearance. People love owls! So they are bound to love this endearingly beautiful kitten which appears to be a torbie-and-white. Torbies are tabby tortoiseshell cats.

Please click on the link above the photograph if you want to read more about, sadly, a little bit of ugliness behind this beauty which concerns the dominant genetic mutation which causes those cute folded ears. This mutation can cause genuine health defects throughout the body particular the feet and tail because it affects the cartilage in the body. This health problem can be avoided through careful selective breeding and outcrossing.
