Cluck, now a month old, was born without an anus. Kitty Bungalow Charm School for Wayward Cats and Sharon Williams went to crowdfunding online to raise money for an operation to resolve Cluck’s imperforate anus. I love the generosity of cat and animal lovers. Over $10,000 has been raised from 279 donations. That must more than cover the operation which has taken place.

Cluck came through the surgery well. She has a button hole. There is now a wait to see if the muscles and nerves function properly. She may need more surgery. We don’t have a further update on that as yet.

The average donation is around $35. This is wonderful and an example where crowd funding is very effective.
