  1. I visited the Great Smokey Mountains National Park decades ago, as well as others over the years. There will always be a distribution of stray animals wandering through and inhabiting the grounds. It goes with the territory.

    Using the term “overun” is quite an exaggeration. National Parks are too vast and expansive to fit this description. Campers bring food. Food attracts “vermin.” The US National Park System is approaching 150 years of strategizing these issues. The real problem is the overuse and accumulation of discarded plastic products.😱😖
