Picture of Tilapia fish skin burn treatment on cat’s flank

WARNING – THE PICTURE MAY DISTURB SOME PEOPLE. I THINK IT IS ACCEPTABLE: This is a cat picture which I think is worth republishing on this website. It certainly caught my eye. It was taken by the Nebraska Humane Society.

I hope Google AI for Adsense accepts it. You know that the people who run the Google adverts (called Adsense) use artificial intelligence (AI) to ensure that images comply with their policies. They don’t like real stuff like this even if it is all for the better and improves cat welfare. Perhaps their AI computer will be confused by seeing a catfish 🙂 . Sorry for being facetious when this is a serious matter.

This cat was burned in the much publicised California wildfires. His name is King and Fox42 tells us that he was pulled from a burning home just before Christmas.

He was treated at the Nebraska Humane Society (NHS). He had 50% burns. The Tilapia fish is eaten by humans. So this is a very useful fish.
