I think this is a good picture which I have improved by removing the background. It shows a huge non-purebred cat with a splendidly calm disposition who is happy to be photographed. He is a pale ginger tabby. He is as big as the big Maine Coons. We don’t know his weight but it must be in the upper teens in pounds. Something like 19 pounds perhaps even 20 pounds or more.

The average weight of Maine Coons is lighter than you probably think because the cats that you see on the internet are often not regular Maine Coons (MCs). A big male Maine Coon would not normally be any bigger than the moggie that you see in the photo. Sometimes MCs can weight 30 pounds but they are very rare. A good, big male Maine Coon in my opinion will weigh around 20 pounds or a little more.
