PoC is visited by the citizens of 128 countries (update: now 168!)
This map from Google Analytics shows you the huge, worldwide appeal of PoC. It almost seems that the citizens of the world have visited the website. Citizens of 128 countries visit PoC (update Jan 2020: now expanded to 168 countries). There are 195 countries on the planet. This means that 66% (two-thirds – now 86%) of the world’s countries visit the site. I know that I am blowing my own trumpet but sometimes you have to!
I don’t know if this is typical. I suspect that it is not. It seems extraordinary to me. Of course I am very proud of it. I am also very proud of PoC’s visitors and contributors. You are educated and very concerned about cat welfare. We share the same values. Many thanks. Please continue to visit and please spread the world. I need all the help that I can get to make the site successful as the internet becomes ever more competitive.
Perhaps above all everything else I need to be motivated. You can help by visiting the site and clicking on more than one page and on some of the adverts. I don’t ask for payment for access to the site. It is all free. The ads barely cover the costs. But success motivates me so if the statistics are goood I’ll keep going. PoC is about 13 years-of-age.
Dear Michael… this is such wonderful news! Heaven knows kitties suffer so terribly the world over at the hands of people… Your great PoC site does important work to raise much needed awareness on behalf of our dear kitty friends. Thank you, Michael, for your strong voice on behalf of cats.
