Pooh the cat
“Pooh can move freely on flat surfaces, walking, running, even making small jumps. What’s important is that he doesn’t seem to be in pain.”
Pooh, the cat, was severely injured in Bulgaria. We don’t have the details; probably a road traffic accident. A kind women saw him and took him to Dr Vladislav Zlatinov a veterinarian. He decided to amputate Pooh’s injured hind legs and give him prosthetic ones. It proved successful. The key is (a) Pooh appears be pain-free and (b) he is amazing. A testament to the cats athletic abilities and durability.
These sorts of injuries usually mean that the cat is euthanised. So it was bold of Dr Vladislav Zlatinov believe he could save Pooh with prosthetic legs.
He was unsure whether it could be achieved but it was worth the risk because the alternative was the end of Pooh’s life.
