This straightforward video made by a customer, I believe, says it all. There has been a rush on pet and people food in supermarkets in North, South Carolina and Florida. But having watched the development of this hurricane it may not be needed for the intended purpose although I could be wrong. CNN reports that it has abated to a category 3 storm with 125 mph winds and it is moving slowly from the Bahamas. That’s all I know. The partially empty shelves do show that a lot of cat and dog owners are well prepared.

The abundance of food both for pets and people in America prevents the shelves being emptied.
