I do not think that it is unreasonable for the public to be updated by the police in a press release in the matter of this cat’s torture and subsequent death. The case received a massive amount of coverage on Facebook and social media generally and through online news websites. Millions of people were and still are emotionally involved in this case. They want to know the outcome of the investigation. They want the police to investigate the matter with commitment and comprehensively.
