Short video of Sphynx questions whether we should be breeding cats

Sphynx cat with the appearance of a creature from outer space.

Maybe it is just me again, but this is not what domestic cats are meant to look like. The original, discovered Sphynx cat would have been a normal looking moggie without hair or sparse hair due to a random genetic mutation. The mutation was a mistake of nature and but for breeders hairless cats would have fizzled out and no longer exist. But after decades of selective breeding by manic breeders guided by crazy breed standards written by anally retentive, navel-gazing cat associations and we get this creature from outer space.

Maybe you love the appearance. It is different. It’s weird. People like different and weird but it is not natural or normal. It is artificial. And I much prefer what nature designed over millions of years. Nature did a fine job. Humans took a fault of nature and turned it into an alien creature. Note: Sphynx cats are popular because they are different. They take a bit of maintenance. You should be aware of that.
