Slice of London Street Life

by Michael

We are talking about Great Britain in this article, at last (USA usually features)! This video shows us quite nicely what it is like in London, England. The feel that you get from the video is very much the feel that you get if you walk down a nondescript London street. Except for the presence of Bob. You don’t see a cat with a busker in London that often or at all.

I love the video because the bloke is one of us – a cat lover and a gentleman.

Love the video because little Bob is a little man on the streets of London. And he is safe.

They are helping each other very nicely thank you very much.

They say ginger (red) tabby cats are stable, solid types. Bob is certainly that. You can see the calm in his face. I like the way he is relaxed with his leash as well.

The normal companion for a busker in London is a dog so it is very nice to see cats being represented in this way.

What a lucky cat to have found such a good friend. I really enjoyed this video. Bob certainly loves his street compasnion and is so lucky to have found him. He looks like a great cat and Id like to read the book.

Wow! He really is an amazing cat he seems to have more doggie traits than cats! I hope they always stay safe, happy and together as they make the most charming duo.

Thanks for sharing, Michael.

Hi Rudolph, you are right. This is rare indeed. You see quite a few dogs with buskers or beggars but no cats.

Michael, thanks for the excellent video of a rare insight into london street life.
Normally have seen dogs as companion animals to street performers at the grand Place in Brussels during a tour of Europe in 2010.In london never saw a street cat or dog or any street performers with pets and this video is really rare as the cat is a better performer than a normal dog that obeys commands.

That’s great, what a partnership they make and Bob doesn’t seem to mind his lead. Fancy going on the tube!
