This is a charming relationship. They are soul mates. Ivy always wanted a cat. She is fascinated with them. Her mother Caitlin decided to adopt one from a shelter and very wisely she adopted a cat with a cleft lip and cleft palate. Ivy was born with the same congenital problem. She copes brilliantly as does her cat Sergeant Pepper. I just think it’s a very nice thing to do. It’s very clever and is very sensitive. And when Ivy grows up she will develop an even more profound relationship with Sergeant Pepper.
