Success – all our allotment cats have been neutered!

I wanted to tell you that we have finally managed to get all six of our feral allotment cats neutered now.

The North Birmingham branch of the Cats Protection gave us a trap to use, and over a period of a few weeks we caught the cats. A CP volunteer took the cats to the vet and brought them back to us afterwards. We are just so grateful to them, we couldn't have done it without their help.

The cats can now settle down to a good life on the allotments, with regular food and shelter .....and no more kittens!

Good work Betty, it's not easy trapping cats and you've obviously been very patient to manage to catch all 6 for neutering.
I love the photos, they are beautiful cats and they look so content!
I wish there were a lot more kind people like you.

Hi Betty, I just wanted to how impressed I am with how you have cared for your allotment cats. You have done a model piece of feral cat caretaking. I think your allotment cats are as contented as they can be. Thanks for updating us.
