Cat Suru with Owner Laxmi.Lamichhane.
I was on a tour of Delhi, Lucknow, Varanasi, Kathmandu, Pokhara and Chitwan and in Pokhara came across a beautiful feline named "Suru".
At Pokhara I was residing at the "New Annapurna Guest House", a beautiful farm type bungalow hotel with milch cows and cultivated farm fields.
The manager of the hotel Laxmi.Lamichhane owned a beautiful female cat named "Suru" that obeyed her like a pet dog.
Suru the cat was an outdoors cat in the morning roaming the hotel estate but in the evenings slept in its owners accommodation.
In the morning as soon as Laxmi got out of her accommodation and entered the hotel garden Suru would follow her like a dog hungry for breakfast.
Suru even quarreled with the pet dog "Bittu", a total domination of the estate, despite the presence of a large dog.
Its the first time that I saw a partly outdoors cat be so attached to its owner as most outdoors cats are totally independent, returning to the house only during food time.
Suru resembles a part Siamese type breed, definitely a mixed breed cat as numerous tourists bring their pets to Pokhara during their trekking expeditions.
Please help identify the type of breed that Suru might belong to. Also, I happened to spot a wild cat in Chitwan, slightly smaller than a tabby.
In the photo, cat "Suru" is pictured with her owner miss Laxmi.Lamichhane.
