My new old name

I had a talk with my deceased husband from a past life (it’s a long story folks). I just wanted to thank everyone for reading my stories but I haven’t been totally honest.

From now on I’m going to use my full name. Elisa Black-Taylor. I just wanted everyone to know when you read the new name that it’s me. I had dropped the Taylor off several years ago. I had a dream last night that requested I go back to this name. I don’t mess around with dreams. They usually have meaning.

Apr 30, 2010 My next story
by: Elisa Black-Taylor

It’s going to be another mysterious story. I’m still in the research/take notes phase and should have it submitted by Monday. It’s one of those that I really sink my teeth into. Let’s just say you’ll never look at your cat the same way again.

And you may want to buy a stopwatch.

by: Finn Frode, Denmark

Hi Elisa. I don’t always have comments for your articles, but I read them all with great interest. Sometimes I’m a bit sceptic, but I’ve lived long enough to accept that there are powers greater than me that I’ll never fully understand. One thing I do know however, is that your articles are always inspiring and food for thought. Keep up the good work.
p.s. The word that comes up on the submit buttom for this comment is “eureka”, no less… 😉

Apr 29, 2010 Thank you Sue
by: Elisa Black-Taylor

At least I know I’m being read. Sometimes I wonder. I never know what my next subject will be until 5 minutes before it happens. Michael began by giving me a few titles and you know what I called it? HOMEWORK. I can’t do it that way. I sit at the computer and google a few subjects and something always catches my eye. It takes about 3 1/2 hours to write a story because of all of the research. It’s fun and very calming. I try not to judge people. I still have the feeling Michael will have to bail me out of jail one of these days for protecting an animal.

Apr 29, 2010 My Book
by: Elisa Black-Taylor

I started it in 1993. The original story took place in 1863 during the civil war here. A man killed his own brother who was having an affair with his wife. The wife grieved over the loss of her soul mate for the rest of her life. I’ve brought everyone back to the present and they are basically the same people and history is trying to repeat itself. It’s a wonderous feeling to meet your soul mate again. The end.

Anyway, every time I try to write the book something happens to the computer. I began first on paper. Still have that. Then on electric typewriter. On day 2 there was a pot of dirt poured in the typewriter ruining it. I tried again with my first computer and saved it to CD and to a flash drive. Both quit working and I lost it again. I’ve redone several chapters and emailed it to my AOL address. So far so good.

So there it sits patiently and waits for me. Did I mention the horrible vivid dreams I have when I’m writing. My soul mates last name was Taylor. It was also my mother’s maiden name. This is not reincarnation. It’s memory genes. Google the subject and read up on it. The theory is we have the memories of our ancestors stored in our DNA. That also explains de ja vou.

Am I mean or what?

Hi Elisa, I think this is a brilliant idea and those of us who love your articles will now only need to book mark one page to refer back to easily.
I understand what you mean about dreams and messages,it does seem sometimes that we are told something we must do !You sound to be a very interesting lady !
I’ll certainly look those book titles up, I’m an avid reader and we have a wonderful local library where if they don’t have the book we want, they will get it for us for a very small fee.
Good luck with your novel, I’ve been writing one for years now, a sort of past/present ghost type story, but due to being involved in all the extra work with the anti declawing project on top of my usual animal welfare stuff, it’s on hold.

Apr 23, 2010 My name
by: Elisa Black-Taylor

It’s the name I’ll have on the cover of my first novel. Haven’t decided yet if it will be inspirational or horror. Maybe an autobiography, which would make it a cross between Golden Girls and Dark Shadows. For those of you outside the US, look them up. Right now I’m sticking to cats, but I also have plenty of dog stories in my head.
