UPDATE May 2, 2018 ADOPTED! I’ll be writing an update Thursday night.
This is the face of heartbreak. Once this sad-eyed kitty becomes available at a North Carolina shelter, he may only have a few days to find a home before being killed. People are upset, to say the least. We can help by sharing his story.
This is Hercules, a male turned in as a stray and posted April 27 to the Facebook page for Rowan County Animal Shelter in Salisbury. Since he’s a stray, the shelter must give his owner time to claim him. If not, Hercules will go up for adoption May 2. He can be killed anytime after May 4.
His information on the shelter’s Facebook page states
A112325 Hercules
Stray Male 28147
Available 5/2/2018
Last day 5/4/2018
Shelter information is listed following this article. Please share him for rescue or adoption before his time runs out. His thread is here. There are a lot of interesting comments and people really do want to save this boy without fighting too much.
