The Least Missing Cat Ever

The least missing cat. Photo: Twitter. The image has been dramatically improved by me!

Words are hardly required because this is self-explanatory. It is a nice picture of a cat. It is not often these days that I can create a post which is squarely inline with the website’s title!

The reason why the website is called is because 12 years ago when the site started the number one keyword for cats was ‘pictures of cats’. Anyone interested in cats was looking for pictures of cats. This was a powerful force which pushed the website into the top position worldwide for a while. Yes, it was the most frequently visited cat website in the world about 10 years ago. This was about 2 years after the site first appeared.

So that explains the picture of cats URL of the site. I converted this to ‘PoC’ to allow myself to explore other avenues on the topic of cats.

Now what about the least missing cat ever? I guess the lady – if it is a lady – just forgot to take down her poster. Perhaps the cat had just been found that morning and his owner was about to take down her poster but before doing so an eagle-eyed passerby spotted the anomaly and took the photo.

The cat is a ‘tuxedo‘. The description does not need an explanation. He is a moggie or random bred cat. The picture was probably taken in England because a lot more cats go missing in England than in the US, I’d say, because 95% of Brits let their cats roam anywhere, whereas in the US a good percentage of cat owners keep their cats permanently inside.

Some Americans think that it is crazy to let cats go outside. One male American, who I won’t name, screamed at me calling me names because I dared to discuss the topic of outside cats.
