The Moment in History When People Became Superstitious about Black Cats — 3 Comments

  1. The root of ignorance is always tied to superstition or religion, both of which are from the same basic fear of the unknown.

  2. Michael, isn’t it crazy, that in today’s *evolved* society, that some still believe these idiotic things about black cats?? Purrsonally,I love cats of ANY color. I have never believed all the fallacies of black cats. I would let 100 cross my path! I happen to believe that all cats are good luck — as evidenced by my owning 12 of many colors! I do have one ninja (black) polydactyl with 21 toes. He is the sweetest kitty — loves myself and my son dearly and dotes on us endlessly! ♥♥♥

    • Yep, it is mad. I despair with humans sometimes. I love all cats and have been the guardian of an all-black and a black and white cat. I loved them dearly.
