This is how two cats show their affection for each other. It is self-explanatory really. The tails are constantly wrapped around each other. If they were humans it would be like one person placing his arm on over the shoulders of his girlfriend. There is plenty of headbutting and close physical contact. Their bodies are almost constantly in contact. It’s like a good waltz from Strictly Come Dancing. Their body scent is being well and truly merged through scent exchange. It seems to be in Germany but I can’t be sure. Sorry, (a) about the image quality which is poor and (b) if you have seen it before. It is a good example, though, of how domestic cats show affection and therefore helps us understand how cats show affection towards humans as well.
