The world needs to always thank Greta for her extraordinary efforts to cajole and harass the world’s leaders into doing the right thing on climate change. In many way she has failed in this respect as the 30 years of COP meetings have not resulted in genuine change sufficient to halt global warming. There is a huge reluctance to take the necessary steps as it will cost too much and countries like India and China want economic advantage over other countries.

China is raping and pillaging nature across the world: South China Sea, Antarctica and Africa for instance and India is the world’s worst polluter of the oceans as their plastic and chemical garbage washes down their blackened rivers to the sea.
