This is a true story of two Ferals I saved from the wild. Kitty came to me all by himself, he was born in the wild, her mama was vicious so I could not tame her, but Kitty I fed all the time and he lived with me for one year, sadly though he was run over by a car, Ferals are hard to keep inside the house.

I know he is waiting for me in Kitty heaven.

Another day I was walking down the road, and I heard some awful cries, sitting next to a tree was a small feral kitten, she was almost dead from the cold, it was a frigid day in January.

I took her in, and she cried for half hour. It was heart-breaking, she was thawing out. Finally she stopped and I fed her, and got rid of the lice, she was covered in them, most ferals have bugs. Then she survived, but she lost part of her tail to frost-bite. She is still alive, in the house, she never goes out, except in summer, and we watch her well. We cannot trust the cars, and she is fantastic, so soft and very multi-coloured. Her name is Tiger.

So it is possible to help them and love them, I have four cats now, I love them all. Cannot live without them.

I changed the title because it is more searchable and I think it better. I hope you are OK with that. I added a photo by someone else to illustrate the page. If you have a pic of Tiger or Kitty I'll change it.
