Doakesy Haku

We have two cats without symptoms available for adoption in Waynesboro, PA.

We have other cats, so we can't keep these two cats, though they are sweet, cute cats.

One is a male named Doakesy and he was first diagnosed with FeLV in 2007. He still does not show symptoms, though, and his blood tests come back with a faint positive.

He is neutered, has a microchip, has tested negative for FIV and heartworms. He will have his current rabies vaccination before re-homing.

He has been an indoor cat only since 2007 and he does get a long with other cats, but can't be around FeLV negative cats. He and the other cat, Haku, get a long nicely but do not need to go to the same home.

I am requesting a re-homing fee in the form of a check for $25 to be made out to a local rescue for FeLV felines.

The second cat is a female named Haku and she was first diagnosed in August 2010 with FeLV, but she is not showing symptoms either.

She is a very shy, petite cat and someone will need to show her extra love and attention for her to come out of her shell, so to speak.

She has a microchip, has tested negative for FIV and heart worms and will have her current rabies vaccination before re-homing.

She has not been spayed yet, but there are reasons behind that. She spent much time with an un-neutered male cat for awhile and never got pregnant, so we think she may have been a part of a trap and release program at one time. She never shows any signs of being 'in heat'. All the other cats in our household are neutered and she is an indoor cat, so it wasn't very necessary and she is quite shy so we didn't want to put her through the trauma. However, I am looking into a spay/neuter clinic for her if the vet recommends her to be checked/spayed.

She has been an indoor cat since 2006.

She get a long with other cats, but can't be around FeLV negative cats. She does get a long with the other cat, Doakesy, but they do not need to go to the same home.

I am requesting a re-homing fee in the form of check for $25 made out to a local rescue for FeLV felines.

If you are interested in either one of these cats, please contact me for more information!
