  1. Please continue to contact the Union County District Attorney’s Office and demand the maximum penalty be handed down. Stress that NC residents are tired of using their resources to clean up the mess left behind by others because abusers know how lax NC is on animal cruelty.—This quote really speaks to the issue. Those causing the problems are also putting the cost on everyone else When you rescue a cat or kitten it isn’t just opening cans of food and filling a litter box. Even money donated for these cats is money diverted from other animals.
    The vet bills for Sampson should be presented in court and the judge should send the sheriff out to go through her house.
