This is a very sad story of a young kitten with burnt paws suffering a declawing operation on those paws on the advice of the veterinarian who said that one paw had to be declawed in order to prevent infection and then advised that the other claw be declawed to keep the cat in balance. The whole thing looks very cynical and callous to me. It looks like a greedy veterinarian operating and convincing an inexperienced cat owner to do something against her wishes and against the kitten’s health and welfare.
