Walter Palmer asks clients to stay away from his dental practice

This morning on the radio – Steve Allen Show on LBC – I heard that Walter Palmer, the Minnesota big game hunter and dentist has requested that clients stay away from his dental practice. This may be in response to protests outside the building. Perhaps Palmer is thinking about the safety of clients. Shame he doesn’t have the same attitude towards animals. Or perhaps he is thinking of his own safety. He is on the run and in hiding.

Palmer has not returned to his dental practice, which makes him so much money he can afford to fork out many tens of thousands for the ‘pleasure’ of killing big game, since the notorious incident occurred when he shot Cecil the lion. Let’s remember he only injured the lion. The lion was shot with a gun 40 hours later.

There is uproar in America over the behavior of Palmer. Mia Farrow tweeted Palmer’s business address. The intention must have been to hurt Palmer financially. I say good for her. However, there was a backlash from certain sections of American society over Farrow’s actions but they had believed that Mia Farrow had published Palmer’s home address, which would have been irresponsible. In fact disclosing his home address might be a crime especially if Palmer was attacked at his home. This is possible as he is widely vilified.

Palmer’s work address is in the public domain. To the best of my knowledge it is River Bluff Dental, 10851 Rhode Island Ave S, Bloomington, MN 55438. That is on Google. Palmer makes his big income from cosmetic surgery. You can see that one of his colleagues (I suspect) has done dental cosmetic surgery on Palmer, judging by his unnatural teeth.

Lion killer Palmer
PALMER

Nugent, singer and a hunter/gun activist, defended Walter Palmer. Surprised? No. He said it is essential to kill lions to stop the environment being overrun by them. From my perspective he is as mad as Palmer. He says the protestors are stupid.

I’d like to see more domestic cat lovers getting involved with this story. Domestic cat lovers and caretakers don’t seem to be as stirred up about the illegal killing of Cecil, Zimbabwe’s most celebrated lion as they are over the illegal killing of Tiger the domestic cat killed by Kristen Lindsey. The two events are very similar.

Both cats were killed by medically qualified people who like to kill animals. This is something that most people can’t comprehend. Both cats were killed with bow and arrow. In both cases the perpetrators of the crime will get off scot-free. In both cases the cat lived for a while after being speared by the arrow. Both the domestic cat and the lion are species of cat. They are not that far removed from each other in terms of taxonomic classification. Both crimes are of equal value. In fact it could be argued that the killing of the lion is more important and significant than the killing of a domestic cat because lions are far rarer than domestic cats.

Whereas there are around 250 million domestic cats in the world, there are only about 30,000 lions. The lion population is .012% that of the domestic cat population! That is around one hundredth of one percent.

There is a silver lining to this story. On this page you see a photo of a 10-year-old-girl placing a plush toy outside Palmer’s dental practice. She has learned about lion hunting and how it is a wicked thing to do. I hope that enough children learn this to one day to stop it because at the moment, the adults are encouraging it in Africa. It is very good business and there are enough people like Palmer who enjoy killing animals.

Let’s not forget that the British are also involved in lion hunting and they are ‘respected’ individuals with high profile public lives. One of them is Sir David Scholey:

  1. I don’t see how anyone who has the ability to read the facts pertaining to this issue could support this madman dentist. Nothing about his actions could be considered legal.
I would expect that madman Palmer’s home address and telephone number can be found in some public records, passed by word of mouth, or by a simple people search online. None of us are exempt, and privacy is pretty much a thing of the past. Therefore, Mia Farrow has no liability in divulging residential location any more than anyone else.

  2. Ted Nugent is an idiot.

I’ve encountered sadists in the human and animal medical community for years. Sometimes they’ve slipped up and inflicted totally unnecessary pain on myself and my animals. The same medical establishment that protects doctors who malpractice against humans also protects bad vets. And don’t get me started on that DA down in Texas.

Palmer needs to be hounded into third world poverty by the general public and Kristen Lindsey should be right there beside him. That’s my only hope now, because I don’t see a proper legal resolution to either case, although Cecil’s death did get Zimbabwe riled up.

I don’t see why domestic cat caretakers aren’t as fired up about this case either. Killing Cecil was just as wrong as killing Tiger, perhaps even more. Like you said, Michael, lions are much rarer than domestic cats.

  3. The worst tragedy of “CECIL” was that he was shot by a arrow and died 40 hours later.Imagine the torture and pain the animal must have undergone before it was eventually killed with a gun.How could a Dentist resort to such torture in hunting down a animal let alone a lion that was the pride of Zimbabwe wild-life.

    • He has to be a sorry excuse for a human being. Shame on him. There are a lot of people like him. They have no empathy whatsoever for animals and their ability to feel pain and emotions.
