At the date of this post, the website of the lawyer, Brian W. Bishop, who is acting on behalf of Kristen Lindsey, the notorious vet who allegedly shot her neighbor’s cat with a bow and arrow, is down. It is not working. Is not working because there is too much traffic at the website or that is the stated reason. The error message is a 509 error.
Update: 2nd June: the site is now working.
“The server is temporarily unable to service your request as the site owner reaching his/her bandwidth limit, please try again?”
What this means then is that there are too many visits to the website – too much traffic and beyond the stated amount allowed under the contract that Mr Bishop has with the website hosting company. This begs 2 questions:
- Are there genuinely too many visits to the website and if so are they from people wishing to make contact with Mr Brian Bishop to criticize him?
- Has Mr Bishop simply asked the company who hosts his website to temporarily put it out of action to avoid people hounding him because they are annoyed that he is defending Lindsey? That is wild speculation but it is an obvious possibility.
This is an interesting development. Of course the website might be down for genuine and normal reasons but it does seem to be a rather strange coincidence and if, as mentioned, you take the error message on face value, all of a sudden Mr Bishop is receiving a lot more traffic than he usually receives to his website. In which case, what is the reason? Is the reason connected to his defense of Kristen Lindsey?
This is the URL of his site:
It may well be back to normal when you read this but something happened.
